The World Travel Awards is a prestigious programme that serves to recognise and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. Each year, clients and partners are encouraged to cast their votes for who they believe leads the way in a range of comprehensive travel categories.

And the votes are in! We have achieved our 6th consecutive win at the World Travel Awards after being named ‘Africa’s Leading Safari Company 2023’. We believe this is a testament to our resounding love for Africa, and keeping our clients at the heart of what we do.

 

Travel + Leisure – World’s Best Awards, 2023

Every year Travel & Leisure ask their readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe for their ‘World’s Best Awards’. For the safari category readers rate tour operators and safari outfitters based on their staff and guides, itineraries and destinations, activities, accommodations, food, and overall value.

In July 2023 we were recognised as one of the ‘World’s Best Safari Outfitters in 2023’ for the second time in a row – taking our total amount of wins to three. Our expertise in arranging top-notch African travel experiences has far outweighed our travellers’ expectations. We get to know our clients’ travel wishes intimately to create a seamless journey – from arriving in Africa with 24/7 on-safari support to after returning home.

The International Sustainable Awards by Luxury Lifestyle Awards, the leading global awarding initiative for recognising the finest luxury goods and services, is a symbol of trust awarded to organisations that are committed to sustainable business practices which positively impact nature and society. Go2Africa is the first tour operator to be awarded the International Sustainable Award, in recognition of Turning Safaris into Sustainable and Positive Impact Business (USA), and it is an honour that we do not take lightly. Since the inception of our first positive impact initiative, we have dedicated ourselves to curating exceptional safari experiences in Africa that are geared toward delivering a more sustainable future.

 

South Africa Prestige Awards – Safari Tour Operator of the Year, 2023/24

The annual South Africa Prestige Awards celebrates businesses and individuals that consistently offer excellent products and services. Each year, the Prestige Awards committee conducts extensive research throughout South Africa to identify the best small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) in their market over the past 12 months. Winners are chosen on how well they fare in areas like service excellence, quality of the product/service provided, innovative practices, values, ethical or sustainable methods of working, and consistency in performance.

Go2Africa is honoured to be recognised as a Safari Tour Operator of the Year by yet another internationally recognised organisation, making this the third individual award, in addition to Travel + Leisure and World Travel Award, we have won in 2023 for being outstanding in our field.
