Days 1-2: Arusha - Lake Manyara

This afternoon you will transfer from Arusha to the airport to connect with a regional scheduled flight to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to camp with game viewing en route. The programme is very flexible here so, if you wish, you can spend the rest of the day on a game drive. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive the next day.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater (Approx 2hr30min drive)

This morning, after breakfast, you head West to the park’s border, viewing game en route. Once out of the park and onto the main Arusha - Serengeti road, you will pass the village of Mto wa Mbu before heading through the escarpments to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route you will view the scenic wheat plains & coffee plantations of the highlands, before journeying into the Ngorongoro forests and on to your lodge, perched over the edge of the crater. Following a delicious lunch and perhaps a brief look around, you depart into the crater on an afternoon game drive that returns to the lodge late afternoon.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart by 4x4 to explore what is commonly referred to as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you will descend 2,000 feet, through the early morning mist, into the crater for a spectacular safari. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is also one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor comprises several distinct habitats, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It is an awesome wildlife experience. In the afternoon you leave the crater and drive back to the lodge.

Days 5-6: Serengeti (Approx 3hr drive)

After breakfast, you will drive to the airport at Lake Manyara to connect with the Regional scheduled flight to Kleins. Upon arrival you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to camp with game viewing en route. After lunch, you could spend the rest of the day on a game drive that returns late afternoon. The next day you will enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive.

DAY 7: Day of Departure

After breakfast you will drive back to Lake Manyara for your air transfer to Arusha. This, unfortunately, is the end of your safari.
