Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi - Kenya's Capital City

Your Kenyan adventure begins today as you arrive in Nairobi and are transferred to Wilson Airport, where you'll be flown to the Chyulu Hills.

From there, you'll set off to Ol Donyo Wuas, a secluded safari camp with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro for the next 3 nights.

Days 2-3: Explore the Chyulu Hills

Ol Donyo Wuas offers guests exclusive access to vast acres of one of the few remaining wilderness areas in East Africa, as the Chyulu Hills runs between the Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks.

Relax and enjoy your private rooftop sundowner spot where you can take in dramatic views of the plains, or chill by the swimming pool during the heat of the day.

One of Ol Donyo Wuas' most special experiences is a horseback safari through the game-packed surrounding areas. If horse-riding is not your thing, then set off on an early morning or night game drive through the Chyulu bush.

Today you'll leave the Chyulu Hills behind and fly to the Laikipia Plateau which is located in central Kenya and sweeps from Mount Kenya to the rim of the Great Rift Valley in the east.

Arrive at Sabuk Lodge, perched high on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the North Eastern Province where you'll spend one night.

Day 5-6: Go Walking With Camels

Today you'll depart Sabuk Lodge and travel on foot and by camel through the Kenyan wilderness to Sabuk Flycamp. There are no roads to the camp, so enjoy trekking through the bush and getting up close to wildlife on the back of a camel.

Enjoy this memorable experience with a professional safari guide, a team of trained Laikipiak Maasai warriors and a train of camels.

Day 7: Sleep Under the Kenyan Stars

Return to Sabuk Lodge by camel and then set off to the Koija Star beds, one of two located on the Loisaba wildlife ranch.

The Koija Star Beds are dramatically designed and set on a handcrafted wooden raised platform, with a thatched roof. The beds can be wheeled onto the open deck area for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roof.

Enjoy this spectacular evening with star-gazing, exceptional views of the Loisaba plains and a night under the Kenyan sky.

Learn about local culture by spending some time with the local Maasai people, 80% of whom make up the camp staff at Elephant Pepper.

During the heat of the day you can laze in the cool of your elegant safari tent and watch game wander past from the comfort of your bed. Later, enjoy sundowners in the bush before returning to camp for a hearty African meal around the campfire or in the stylish open-plan mess tent.
