Ndovu Bonde Treehouse

Ndovu Bonde Treehouse is situated on the verdant crescent of the Shimba Valley amid surrounding hilltops. This crescent forms the boundary to the National Reserve forested wildlife sanctuary. These tree houses on the coastal area of Kenya are forested and elevated from the coastal plain.

There are views of the valley and rainforest with Tanzania as the background. Animals include elephant, buffalo, waterbuck and a diverse range of birdlife. You can take guided bush walks through the plantations and the rainforest. If you stay for two nights, you can take a picnic on the opposite side of the valley overlooking the coastal plains of Kenya and Tanzania.

Each tree house has a star bed, a Jacuzzi, and panoramic views of the "Africa of Old", and has been designed using only what nature has given; the al fresco bathrooms offer a shower with a view of the world at your feet. Butler and valet services allow for complete privacy, with a fully-stocked bar and cosy meals on your balcony.

Close by the tree house is a lapa area overlooking the valley, where your personal chef serves a candlelit dinner on a table set for two. For a pre-dinner dip, the pool is yours alone.
