Ndali Lodge

Ndali Lodge is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Bunyaruguru Crater Field. Sitting on a narrow ridge, it has views of the 11 000 year old water-filled volcanic craters that have formed serene lakes. Visiting Ndali is an intimate experience. The lodge’s friendly and informal atmosphere is enhanced by the welcoming staff who come from local farms and villages and are professionally trained by the lodge. The lodge has also been in the Price family for many years and it thus has a homely, warm atmosphere.

Eight individual cottages with en suite bathrooms provide plenty of privacy with stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains and Queen Elizabeth National Park And at night, the dining room is decked out with candles - the lodge has no electricity or generators to detract from the natural bush atmosphere. The sitting room, reception and dining room open out onto the lake and are three thatched cottages connected by two open passage or ‘breeze-ways’ and fruit bats, owls and frogs like to use them as a highway to the crater lake. A full English breakfast is served on the verandah overlooking the lake where you can enjoy freshly squeezed passion fruit juice (from Ndali’s vines in season) and homemade bread with wild honey.
