| Sweetwaters Tented Camp lies in the heart of one of only 4 private game reserves in Kenya, and offers great views of game across the open plains, to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya.
Built in the 1970s, the camp's main building was originally the residence of the ranch manager of this private reserve. In fact, the Sweetwaters Game Reserve was once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi.
Today the reserve comprises extensive savannah grasslands and the riverine forests that border the Ewaso Nyiro River.
You can embark on day and night game drives in 4-wheel drive vehicles, as well as walking safaris where you'll be escorted by a knowledgeable ranger, bird walks, horse riding and camel safaris.
From the camp you can view and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat while you sip on a few drinks.
