Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, this unique game lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of wildlife.
The Ark has three decks, which allow game viewing from superb vantage points off numerous balconies and lounges.
The ground level bunker provides excellent photographic opportunities and takes you closer to the animals than you would have thought possible.
The Ark has 60 'cabin-styled' en suite rooms, comprising of 6 single, 37 twin, 10 double and 7 triple-bedded cabins.
Rooms have private bathrooms with shower, are comfortably furnished and enjoy a view of the forest waterhole. En suite cabins are fitted with buzzers to announce the arrival of one of the 'Big Five' at the waterhole. There are four game viewing areas, two non-smoking lounges, and a gift shop.
Dinner and breakfast are served in the main dining room. Located on one of the viewing decks are a lounge and bar, which remain open all night for tea and coffee.
